Here's my belly at 26 weeks! I can't believe that I'll be in the third trimester in just a few days. It seems to be going by so quickly! I'm sure I won't be saying that when it comes down to the final few weeks.I'm so excited for the holidays this year! I don't know if it's because we'll be spending them all in Washington where we'll have to create our own traditions this year or if it's because Haylie is due so close to Christmas time or maybe it's because we get to have our own Christmas tree this year! I'm sure it's a combination of manyyy things. I can't wait, though! The holiday season is such a fun and exciting time of year. :)
I have pictures to share from our visit to California but I need to get them on my computer! Hopefully I'll get to it soon!

andrea, it honestly does go by so fast. when i was 37 weeks, i couldn't believe how fast it had all gone by. you should really treasure every moment you have now before the baby comes. you and jake should make a video talking to the baby. jason and i did that. we talked about our aspirations for the babies, what we thought they would be like, what we wanted them to grow up as, etc. etc. it was just fun and it will be special in years from now!
oh and one more thing, you should get a calendar for the baby's first year. i wish i had gotten one before they were born because then i could have marked all the days they started to lift their head, sit up, first tooth, etc., instead of me writing it in random places like a journal, a blog, their scrapbook, etc. i bought a one-year baby calendar last month and it came with stickers to mark all the occassions. i wish i would have gotten it earlier!
you look great! I have about 3 and a half weeks left and I am so ready to be done. This last month has been the hardest and the most emotional. mostly because I am dialated to a one now and the baby is pointed down. so I feel a lot of pressure and don't get much sleep at all. Plus I'm really swollen. I hope the rest of your time goes by smoothly.
